Comments: The deployment of NPS-66 required 4 Shell workboats, 2 MSRC vessels, and 4000 feet of boom. The deployment took over two hours and a large amount of resources. The temperature was in the low 60’s, there was some light rain and calm. The tide was flooding and the deployment started with an extra foot of depth from the flooding tide. If the weather conditions had been worse, the deployment of this GRP would have been more difficult. Additionally, it would be much more difficult to deploy this GRP at low tide. Shell may want to consider if the priority of deploying this GRP is affected by the number of resources it requires.
